10 Signs That Someone Is Totally Not Worth Your Time. Run Away Now!

SPEAKING ABOUT HAVING LOTS OF PEOPLE

People usually talk of having many people in their life turn on them and stop speaking. 'I remember one ex coworker becoming super fast friends with someone, then we don't talk anymore within weeks.

NOT LISTENING

It is not the case that they pay attention to what you have to say and answer appropriately; rather, they simply wait for you to stop talking so that they can talk about whatever they want to talk about.

SAYING NEGATIVE THINGS ABOUT OTHERS

A lot of the answers have said "when they say bad things about other people," which I agree with. But for me, the biggest red flag is when they can't let someone else get credit or be the center of attention.

TELLING EVERYTHING AS A JOKE

When they make fun of their significant other in front of other people, yet they swear that it's all a joke! I used to be the one who was put down in this situation, which is a sad reality.

ACTING LIKE A BEST FRIEND AT FIRST MEET

When someone you hardly know acts like they are your greatest buddy, and then later asks you for money, this is a very concerning situation.

EXPECTING YOU TO BE SO ENGAGING

"They don't really listen to you or care about what you have to say, but they expect you to be totally interested in what they say and act upset if you aren't."

TALK ONLY ABOUT THEMSELVES

"Whenever they are only concerned with themselves,"

NOT ACCEPTING NO AS AN ANSWER

"If they are unable to accept denial as an answer."

MONOPOLIZING A CONVERSATION

When they monopolize a conversation, steer it so you end up seeing a phone full of images, participate in a complete monologue about their health or relationship troubles, and brag about themselves or their family.

LYING EASILY

“Only two men I know lied about their ages when we met. Both men were abusive and unpleasant (I dated one and knew his girlfriend). I think people who lie easily, even over little things, have significant psychological issues and should be avoided.”
