Spinach Artichoke Pasta Recipe Simples Recipe Ever
Its silky cream sauce, fresh spinach, and tangy artichoke hearts make it a simple, comfortable midweek supper that will become a staple.
– 8 ounces penne
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 5 ounces spinach
– 1 cup artichoke heart
– 8 ounces cream cheese
– 1 tablespoon garlic powder
– ¼ teaspoon salt
– ¼ teaspoon pepper
– 2 cups milk
– 1 cup mozzarella cheese
– ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
Ingredient
To begin, cook the pasta as directed on the package. Make the sauce while the pasta cooks.

In a large pot or Dutch oven, add the olive oil and warm over medium heat. When the spinach has wilted, add it and simmer.

Cook for a further minute after adding the artichoke hearts. Once the cream cheese has melted and there are no lumps, add it and stir.

Add the salt, pepper, and garlic powder and stir. When the mixture reaches a boil, add the milk and stir occasionally.

Followed by the addition of the pasta, stir in the mozzarella cheese and continue to mix until the pasta is equally coated.

Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese, and serve while still quite warm.
